USAID Donates Case Management System for Labor Courts

The U.S. Government, through its Agency for International Development (USAID), presented a Labor Case Management System on December 14, 2011, in the Integrated Justice Center for Private and Social Law in San Salvador. This software application is the first in its class and is designed principally to contribute to controlling the time it takes to process cases using electronic calendars with deadlines and measurements of processing times. It also contributes to effective court management and will facilitate the provision of real time court statistics, which will allow for analysis of management indicators to aid in decision making and judicial transparency.
The donation of this system forms part of the USAID Improving the Justice System Project. Additionally, five labor courts have been equipped with computers, as well as the common areas in the Integrated Justice Center.
