Project beneficiaries participate in music classes as part of violence prevention plans

Recently, the Salvadoran Government announced the creation of a Donor's Committe, part of an effort to integrate and better coordinate international aid related to public safety, local development, and social security.

This initiative coincides with the commitments made by the previous government in May 2009 when it signed the Paris Declaration of the Efficiency of Development Aid. The declaration includes several core ideas: ownership of development policies by host countries, alignment of development with these policies, cooperation between donors, results-oriented administration, and mutual responsibility among donors and host countries.
